Church Announcements

If you have not received your new Church Directory, you may pick it up in the church office weekdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm or on Sundays. Please take one per family.

BLOOD PRESSURE testing will be available today Pastor Watts' office following the 9:30am worship service.

You can contribute to the financial health of the church without spending any money. When you use food certificates from Acme or ShopRite 5% of the amount you spend is returned to the church.

Certificates are available from Bob Watts in the Gathering Area every Sunday after the 9:15am service. You can also get them by calling Lee Bergen who will even deliver them to your door.

Choose Delanco Camp in Tabernacle, NJ. Spend a week having the time of your life with friends and experiencing God in a real way. Camps are available for youth going into fourth grade all the way up to recent high school graduates.

THE JULY/AUGUST “COURIER” is available in the Narthex, the hallway outside the church office, as well as in the church Library.

Eucharistic Ministers are encouraged to take a copy of the Courier to church members that they visit.

JUNIOR CHURCH is looking for a few good people willing to teach 1-2 Sundays this summer so our wonderful Sunday School teachers can have some well deserved time off.

If you can teach at the 9:30 service 1-2 times this summer please call or email Tammy at tcpdefl@verizon.net.

THE CUMC BOOK CLUB is reading The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory. Join us August 12, 2010 10:30am at the home of Debbie Tai for a lively discussion.

Pack a sandwich…beverage and dessert will be provided. RSVP.

The Worship Committee has re-negotiated the arrangements for our Sunday altar flowers.

They will now be available at the reduced price of $30.00. There are many dates available, especially in July, September, and November.

Please sign up on the flower chart hanging outside the church office to donate in honor or in memory of a loved one or a special event in your life.

Our new Commercial Directory is available for pickup in the Narthex. The Missions Team thanks all advertisers (proceeds went to Missions) and particularly Ginny Peter for her hard work designing and printing the Commercial Directories.

7th ANNUAL GEORGE LOGAN MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT (which benefits Atlantic County Habitat for Humanity) will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the Atlantic City Country Club.

Registration and practice begins at 12:00noon. All golfers will receive: golf shirt, and gift bag, Hot Dogs and Soda prior to play. Open driving range and practice area. Carts & green fees. Bogey Barbecue after golf.

Many prizes and awards! Entry donation is $125.00 per golfer. Deadline for registration is July 7th, 2010. Format: 4-person team shotgun scramble.

The TRUSTEE TEAM sponsors Coffee Hour in July. Members of the congregation whose last names begin with “L, M, & N” are asked to bring finger foods and help with light refreshments.
